The China Study

As I stated earlier. I began eating according to the vegan lifestyle, because I love food, and I thought I could lose weight for my daughter's wedding.  Well, that day has come and gone, and yes, I have lost weight.  Thirty pounds to be exact. I enjoy not counting calories and eating what I want.

 I have a tendency to be a stress eater. I recall one stressful day at work, when I ate six apples, yes, six!  Last year, I would have eaten chocolate.  Have you ever compared the nutrition and calories of six candy bars versus six apples?  It would blow you away.  Now i realize that overdoing anything is extreme, but if you are going to overdue, apples are a much better choice.

Ok, so I have continued to lose weight.  In the past, that would not have kept me on a certain regimen.  I eventually would "fall off the wagon".  That is until I read The China Study.  I bought a copy of the book for all four of my daughters, and read excerpts to my husband, who had a heart attack, nicknamed the "widow-maker".  Please do yourself a favor and read the book.  Then make your own choices.
